AMUR LEOPARD

Still hunted for their pelts and killed in traps, the Amur Leopard numbers less than 50 in the Asian wilderness.

PINK DOLPHIN

Trapped in fishing nets, less than 40 of these amazing fresh water dolphins are believed to still exist.

UAKARI MONKEY

Possibly the rarest in the world, there are only two Uakari monkeys in captivity, housed at the Los Angeles zoo.

Clouded Leopard: very endangered and so rare that no photos exist from the wild.

One of the first potential projects for the ALLERCA FOUNDATION is cloning an endangered species for eventual reintroduction into protected habitats. We chose the Clouded Leopard given that it is not only a very rare "big cat", but also because we have access to a number of Clouded leopards in captivity that will act as surrogates for the cloned embryos.
